Driving from Quito for about 1 hour in the East direction, we will reach the upper pass called la Virgen at 4000mt. Here we will take a trail along the Paramos of the Cayambe Coca Eco- Reserve and head down along this lonely trail with plenty of small and lakes and birds, with a bit of luck we may see the endemic Masked Bear.
After four hours of walk, we will pass by a lovely waterfall called La Milagrosa, which is surrounded by amazing flora and vegetation. Early afternoon and after lunch, we will enjoy the healthy medicals waters of Papallacta and after this, we will drive back to Quito.
