The Ishinca Valley is located just outside of Huaraz, and hosts a number of inspiring peaks. After the initial training and acclimatization phase, which may be done on your selves or with our organization, we will climb Ishinca (5530mt.) Ischinka is not a technical climb but demands good fitness, and some experience on ice and snow techniques, This is an excellent way to acquire the acclimatization and experience you need to climb Tocllaraju.
Tocllaraju 6034mt is a spectacular pyramid like massif that emerges over the Ishinca valley with white and perfect stateliness. Famous because of its beauty and because of the many visitors who are willing to climb it or just attempting minor neighbors mountains such as Urus 5420mt, Ishinca 5540mt, Ocshapalca 5888mt and Ranrapalca 6168mt among other. Day 1.-Arrival in Lima – Transfer to Hotel
Day 2.- Transfer to Bus Station and drive to Huaraz. At 3100 mt. Hotel
Day 3. Depart from Huaraz in direction to Pashapamba (3800mt.) and walking to the base camp at 4300mt.. (BL/D)
Day 4. Early eascent to Ishinca summit 5530mt. and descend by the South route to Base camp. (B/BL/D).
Day 5. Approach and portage to High Camp of Tocllaraju at 5150mt. in the base of the moraine. (B/BL/D)
Day 6. Early ascent to the summit of Tocllaraju (6034mt.) and back to Base Camp.(B/BL/D)
Day 7. Return Base camp and later to Pashpa. Private transfer to Huaraz. (B/BL).
Day 8.- Breakfast and Bus to Lima. Hotel
Day 9.- Breakfast and Transfer to airport/ flight back home.
