This is a 4-hours city tour in the modern and old district. We start driving through the residential neighborhoods and the Legislative Palace towards Independence Square. From here, you will visit the most important and famous churches, such as San Francisco, the famous La Compania de Jesus, and Old Catedral. We will meet us at Sierra Nevada Office at 9 am or pick you up at your hotel. The first visit will be the Congress Palace and Simon Bolivar monument at Alameda Park, then immediately you will slowly get into the old city observing the classic architecture and squares. You will visit the famous Compania de Jesus, San Francisco, and old Cathedral, where you will be amazed by the carved masterpieces; gold crafts and paints, that for more than 4 centuries those churches had sheltered.
Finally, you will continue uphill in-vehicle towards el Panecillo. A natural lookout hill, where you can enjoy an overview of Quito and Volcanoes Avenue and admire the traditional statue of La Virgen de Quito. About 13H00 you will be back in our office or your Hotel. Upon request this tour may be combined with a visit to Equator Line. Ask for it.
