MAGICAL SOUTH ECUADOR
In this package tour, we would like you to discover the diversity of the Southern Ecuadorian landscapes and people, which in many ways is more diverse and richer as Northern areas. Starting with a visit to the old city and Equator line, witnessing the heritage and past of a colonial city and the present of a modern metropolis, Cotopaxi National Park, where you can do some gentle hikes while watching the Mighty Cotopaxi Volcano and Limpiopungo Valley. Thereafter, Moving towards Quilotoa Lake and panoramic views, observing the colorful natural PARAMOS and tiny Indian settlements, hiking inside its crater lake. Then Banos village, the perfect place to relax and experience extreme sports into the Cloud Forest with waterfalls surrounded by exotic vegetation. Then driving to Alausi village and do a Train Ride along with the historical and famous Davis’ Nose, followed by a visit to Inga Pirca Ruins, the ancient and well preserved Inca Ruins and finally a visit to the Cultural city of Cuenca, without doubts this itinerary will take you beyond your expectancy. Day 1
Arrival in Quito’s airport and Transfer to your hotel ( Tourist Cass)
Day 2
Morning city tour, visit of the main churches and squares in the old city, as well as Panecillo hill, Afternoon visit to Equator line Monument and complex and museums. Back to Quito late afternoon. Hotel
Day 3
Depart towards Cotopaxi Nat Park, short hike around the lake and grasslands, Afternoon, Transfer to Quilotoa Area, Overnight in Indian Lodge.
Day 4
today we can either hike inside the crater or around the crater (optional), In the afternoon we will drive to Banos city. Possibility to visit an indian market. Hotel
Day 5
Optional bike ride o with vehicle you will descend into the cloud Forest to Pailon del Diablo big waterfall. Dive back to Banos. Hotel.
Day 6
Volcano watching and Transfer to Riobamba and Alausi village, where the Train Station is Located. Hotel.
Day 7
Train Raid towards the Devisl’Nose, cultural performances and museum visit, Afternoon back to Aluasi. Transfer to Inga Pirca Ruins. Hotel.
Day 8
Transfer to Cuenca city, visit to the Old Catedral and free afternoon. Hotel
Day 9
Cuenca city tour. Afternoon on your own. Hotel
Day 10
Drive back to Quito.
