Fredy Ramirez
Sierra Nevada's Owner & Founder
Fredy Ramirez is an internationally experienced and accredited adventure guide. He bears certifications from ASEGUIM (Ecuadorian Mountain Guide Association) as a Senior Instructor and Guide, ENSA (Ecole National du Skie et Alpinisme) in Chamonix, AGAR (Ecuadorian River Guide Association), and from the Hotel Management Institute Klessheim in Salzburg – Austria as a hotelier. His experience includes high-altitude rescue courses in Austria (ÖAV – Austrian Alpine Club) as well as in Chamonix – France and several private and commercial expeditions all over the Alps, the Andes including Mount Blanc, Mc. Kinley, Aconcagua, Ilimani, Huascaran, Alpamayo as well as in Nepal, the Island Peak.
Our Team Guides
All our guides have a certification from ASEGUIM and UIAGM. From Sierra Nevada you can expect nothing less than the most experienced and the highest performance group of guides. All of them have undergone a rigorous official training of UIAGM. They are handpicked considering their experience, training, skills, honesty, friendly attitude etc. Each of our guides has completed medical training certifications and command English.
